FAQs

What locations do we cover?

We are based in Nottingham in the UK, Venice, Italy and Kefalonia in Greece but we undertake ” Destination Wedding Photography” commissions worldwide, for example we often undertake wedding shoots in locations such as London, Athens, Rome, Verona, Siena, Cortina, Florence, Tuscany , Sicily , Lake Garda, Lake Como, Amalfi Coast and more recently in the USA.

How many weddings do you undertake each year?

We only accept approx 25 – 30 unique weddings per year, we prefer to work on providing the highest quality of service and commitment to each and every couple, leading up to the event, the event itself and in post production.

Are you a photojournalist – documentary photographer?

Yes I am a recognised photojournalist and a member of the industries top associations for example the Wedding Photojournalists Association WPJA & the more creative Artists Guild AGWPJA, representing the worlds elite wedding photographers in the field of wedding photojournalism, also known as documentary or reportage photography.

Do you also do artistic portrait photography?

Part of my unique offering is that besides typical group shots we also incorporate artistic elements of fashion, location and fine art photography for those couples who are looking for something quite unique in the eventual art wedding book.

Do you work with an assistant/s?

We always work with an experianced photography and wedding direction assistants who have experience in assisting me in every aspect of my work giving me every oppurtunity to focus my energy on the job in hand.

How many images do you typically shoot?

Quite simply we continue shooting all the time we are working and a full selection of images are provided on a DVD or uploaded to our client proofing viewing area on our website. Typically between over 1000+ are taken during a full days event.

When will I get my initial images?

Images for Online proofing are loaded to our Clinet viewing area of our website within 14 days of the event. After consultation we will then start to finish the selected images in the latest artistic software to the highest standards. These finished images will then be loaded for final viewing prior to the design of Showreels or any Art Albums. At this point all the images will be dispatched to the customer including those not used in production on a DVD or media device.

How many images do you retouch and edit?

Typically we finish to the highest standard approx 100 – 150 of the best cllient selected images for production of a custom designed Art Album or Showreel.

Who owns the eventual images and media?

The photographer will always own the copyright of the images and media taken, however the client is licensed to reproduce and distribute to friends and family without charge. They cannot however be used for commercial sale or advertisement without the photographers written agreement.

When will I get my Wedding Art Book/Album?

Once the images are selected, finished we will start the process of custom designing your Art Book/Album which will take approx 14 days. The page layouts will be uploaded again for client viewing and once approved the Art Book will be bound and dispatched approx 4-6 weeks after the date of final approval of design phase.

What camera equipment do we use?

We have invested in the world leading pro series Nikon D3x medium format SLR and the amazing NEW D3s low light and event SLR camera bodies. This coupled with the very best Nikon optics and portable studio lighting from Elinchrom means we can guarantee the finest artistic images possible in any type of situation.
